Now it’s JULY – and summertime is here – I know it’s a different summer but remember good art takes you from your current mental state into a surreal one, on “another plane”. Like when you watch a great movie and it makes you cry or laugh or terrifies you. If a movie affects you in a serious way – then it was an excellent movie! I hope the same can be said about music during 2020 – as it’s a difficult year – and I am trying to make music that is fun and makes people smile and dance!
That is why SINGLE ALL SUMMER is a fast dance-pop track with lyrics that fit millions of scenarios in the world every summer! Remember when you were 17? 19? 21? This song is from your past! Enjoy the great decisions you made to take a summer off and be with yourself!
SINGLE ALL SUMMER was completely inspired by the Billy Idol song from the Whiplash Smile album “All Summer Single”. I really loved this song (and the whole album) back in 1986. “I want a good time!”
